Installation and Maintenance at Frankfurt Airport

Cargo handling, freight forwarders and technical operations at the airport: we install, maintain and relocate where handling must not stop – airside, in night and weekend windows, with security clearance and a crew that knows the site.

What makes the airport different from an ordinary industrial site

At the airport everything runs to a schedule that cannot be moved. Freight is handled by the minute, sorting systems are running, trucks are waiting at the dock – and in between, equipment has to be installed, repaired and modified. That only works in windows: at night, at weekends, in agreed handling breaks.

The second difference is access. Anyone working in the security restricted area needs an airport ID card, a background check under German aviation security law and a site induction – and has to handle tool checks, escort requirements and zone changes without every step turning into a question. We have been working continuously for customers at Frankfurt Airport since 2019. Our fitters know the procedures, the ID cards are in place, the checks are complete.

We come from this environment, not from outside. Emergency-stop buttons on a sorting system, impact protection at loading docks, dock levellers in a logistics centre, statutory repairs to loading ramps, storage equipment – these are not brochure references but published job reports from the cargo area and its surroundings. Whoever hires us gets a crew that knows what it is like on the other side of the checkpoint.

What this means for you: You get an installation crew with its own lifting equipment, its own workshop in Rodgau and access to the security restricted area – 25 to 40 minutes from Cargo City, leaving from 6 a.m., working nights and weekends.

How a job at the airport runs with us

Step 1

Site walk, survey and access

We walk the route from the gate to the installation point: access road, checkpoint, floor loads, ceiling heights, lifting points. In parallel we clarify which ID cards, escorts and permits your area requires – and bring what we already hold.

Step 2

Windows, permits and safety measures

We plan backwards from the moment handling has to run again: night windows, weekend windows, handling breaks, permits to work, barriers. Material and tools are ready before the window opens – not once it is open.

Step 3

Execution with one team

Mechanical, electrical, controls and welding in the same crew. In shifts where needed so the window holds – with a fixed team that already has its induction and access.

Step 4

Handover and documentation

Function test, measurements, photo documentation and report to your standard – in German or English. After that we remain available for maintenance and breakdowns, for existing customers within a few hours.

Documented from our own jobs at the airport

Published job reports from the cargo area and its surroundings – no customer names, with photos.

Frankfurt Airport: straight answers

Can your fitters enter the security restricted area?

Yes. Airport ID cards and background checks under German aviation security law are in place for our fitters, and inductions are current. We have worked continuously for customers at Frankfurt Airport since 2019 – tool checks, escort requirements and zone changes are routine for us, not an exception.

How quickly can you be on site?

From Rodgau we reach Cargo City in 25 to 40 minutes, leaving from 6 a.m., with jobs at night and at weekends. For existing customers we are on site within a few hours in the event of a breakdown – depending on the contract in under an hour.

Can you work in night and weekend windows?

Yes, at the airport that is the norm. We plan backwards from the moment handling has to run again, stage material and tools in advance and work in shifts where needed.

What have you already done at the airport?

Emergency-stop buttons on a sorting system, impact protection at loading docks, dock levellers and loading ramps in logistics centres, storage equipment – all published as job reports with photos, without customer names. Plus ongoing maintenance and repairs for customers we have worked with for years.

How many people can you provide at short notice?

Our core team is in-house. Through established partner companies we have worked with for years, we can mobilise around 20 additional fitters within a few days – led by our own supervisors. For the security restricted area one rule applies: no ID card, no entry; we plan for that.

What credentials can you provide?

Commercial register extract, liability insurance, clearance certificates, our own EHS standard, qualification records for our fitters, risk assessment and work instructions. Background checks are complete and on file; RAMS and documentation are provided in German or English.

Do you also handle maintenance and repairs?

Yes. Recurring inspections and maintenance with reports, replacement of wear parts, statutory repairs to loading and conveying equipment. Plus breakdown call-outs – primarily for customers we already work with, and then within a few hours.

Do you have a job in the cargo area or at the airport?

Describe the frame: equipment, area, time window, access rules. We will tell you what we do ourselves, how fast we can be there – and what it costs.
