For our customer Wemag, this job involved dismantling a hall office to make room for a new sales counter.
The hall office was dismantled and broken down into its individual parts. It was important to separate all recyclable materials properly so that they could be recycled in the best possible way. The special feature here was paying attention to the glass panes and the insulation wool during dismantling, as these have to be disposed of correctly and professionally.
Paternoster Dismantling, Hall Office Removal and Installation of a New Sales Counter
Dismantling
For our customer Wemag, this job involved dismantling a hall office to make room for a new sales counter.
The hall office was dismantled and broken down into its individual parts. It was important to separate all recyclable materials properly so that they could be recycled in the best possible way. The special feature here was paying attention to the glass panes and the insulation wool during dismantling, as these have to be disposed of correctly and professionally.
From dismantling to the new sales counter

The individual parts were taken out of the hall and then placed in containers and suitable big bags.
The individual trays and drive components were lifted out of the housing using an electric pallet stacker.
In addition, a Hähnel paternoster storage system that had seen better days was dismantled in the hall to make room for a modern storage system. During dismantling, the power supply had to be switched off and removed. We then broke everything down into its individual parts.
The side panels of the paternoster were laid down with the help of a forklift and a few round slings, so that nobody had to tip the heavy parts over by hand.
The heavy side panels were taken out of the hall on dollies, as they were too wide to be moved out by forklift.

Assembling the sales counter was then the easiest task for our installation team at the end.
As the counter consists of a plug-in shelving system, it only took a few steps to assemble it.

A trained mechatronics technician, at home in maintenance, servicing and industrial installation since 2004 – first alongside his father, and since 2012 with Omega Mounting: from the overhead conveyor in Frankfurt to the crane system in a new-build hall. As appointed person for lifting operations, he plans and leads lifting operations in data centers and on industrial sites in the Rhine-Main region, is an instructor and examiner for cranes, aerial work platforms and telehandlers, and a safety officer. On assignments abroad he is known as the "German Troubleshooter" – the one you call when things get stuck on site. He did not learn what quality means from a manual, but from his father: Made in Germany as a standard for his own work, not as a label. That is why quality comes first at Omega Mounting – before speed and before price. The project diary shows the jobs his team has planned and carried out – without customer names, but with everything that can be learned from them.
