Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
Access, rectification and erasure
Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, where applicable, a right to rectification or erasure of this data. 4. Data collection on this website
Cookies
Our website uses so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your end device. They are stored on your end device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Persistent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
Cookies may originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services of third-party companies within websites (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping basket function or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to evaluate user behaviour or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g. for the shopping basket function) or to optimise the website (e.g. cookies for measuring the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is stated. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG); consent may be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
If further cookies and services are used on this website, you will find details in this privacy policy.

The provider of this technology is Borlabs GmbH, Hamburger Str. 11, 22083 Hamburg, Germany (hereinafter Borlabs).
When you enter our website, a Borlabs cookie is stored in your browser, in which the consents you have given or the revocation of these consents are stored. This data is not passed on to the provider of Borlabs Cookie.
The collected data is stored until you ask us to erase it or delete the Borlabs cookie yourself, or until the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected. Details on the data processing of Borlabs Cookie can be found at https://de.borlabs.io/kb/welche-daten-speichert-borlabs-cookie/.
Borlabs Cookie consent technology is used to obtain the legally required consents for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent may be revoked at any time.
The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to erase it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

The data you send to us via contact enquiries remains with us until you ask us to erase it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
Communication via WhatsApp
For communication with our customers and other third parties, we use, among other things, the instant messaging service WhatsApp. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland.
Communication takes place via end-to-end encryption (peer-to-peer), which prevents WhatsApp or other third parties from gaining access to the content of the communication. However, WhatsApp does gain access to metadata generated in the course of the communication process (e.g. sender, recipient and time). We also point out that, according to its own statements, WhatsApp shares personal data of its users with its parent company Meta, which is based in the USA. Further details on data processing can be found in the WhatsApp privacy policy at: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/#privacy-policy.
WhatsApp is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in the fastest and most effective communication possible with customers, prospective customers and other business and contractual partners (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If a corresponding consent has been requested, data processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of the consent; this may be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
The content of communication exchanged between you and us on WhatsApp remains with us until you ask us to erase it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
The company holds a certification under the “EU-US Data Privacy Framework” (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Every company certified under the DPF undertakes to comply with these data protection standards. Further information on this can be obtained from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/7735.
We use WhatsApp in the “WhatsApp Business” variant.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/business-data-transfer-addendum.
ProvenExpert
We have integrated ProvenExpert rating seals on this website. The provider is Expert Systems AG, Quedlinburger Str. 1, 10589 Berlin, Germany, https://www.provenexpert.com.

When you visit our website, a connection to ProvenExpert is established so that ProvenExpert can determine that you have visited our website. ProvenExpert also records your language settings in order to display the seal in the selected language.
ProvenExpert is used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in presenting customer reviews as transparently as possible. If a corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's end device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent may be revoked at any time.
5. Analysis tools and advertising
WP Statistics
This website uses the analysis tool WP Statistics to statistically evaluate visitor access. The provider is Veronalabs, Tatari 64, 10134 Tallinn, Estonia (https://veronalabs.com).
With WP Statistics, we can analyse the use of our website. WP Statistics records, among other things, log files (IP address, referrer, browser used, origin of the user, search engine used) and actions that website visitors have taken on the site (e.g. clicks and views).
The data collected with WP Statistics is stored exclusively on our own server.
This analysis tool is used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the anonymised analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both our website and our advertising.
IP anonymisation
We use WP Statistics with anonymised IP. Your IP address is truncated so that it can no longer be directly attributed to you.
6. Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use newsletter service providers, described below, to handle the newsletter.
Klick-Tipp
This website uses Klick-Tipp to send newsletters. The provider is KLICK-TIPP LIMITED, 15 Cambridge Court, 210 Shepherd’s Bush Road, London W6 7NJ, United Kingdom.
Klick-Tipp is a service that can be used, among other things, to organise and analyse the sending of newsletters. The data you enter for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter is stored on Klick-Tipp's servers.
Data analysis by Klick-Tipp
When we send newsletters with the help of Klick-Tipp, we can determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked.
Klick-Tipp also enables us to divide newsletter recipients into different categories (so-called tagging). Newsletter recipients can be divided, for example, by gender, personal preferences (e.g. vegetarian or non-vegetarian) or customer relationship (e.g. customer or potential customer). In this way, the newsletters can be better tailored to the respective target groups. Further information can be found at: https://www.klicktipp.com and https://support.klicktipp.com/.
If you do not want analysis by Klick-Tipp, you must therefore unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message.
Legal basis
Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
The United Kingdom is considered a safe third country under data protection law. This means that the United Kingdom has a level of data protection that corresponds to the level of data protection in the European Union.
Retention period
The data you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected.
After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is used only for this purpose and is not merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You may object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
For details, please refer to the Klick-Tipp privacy policy at: https://www.klicktipp.com/datenschutzerklarung/.

The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.

8. eCommerce and payment providers
Processing of customer and contract data
We collect, process and use personal customer and contract data for the establishment, content and modification of our contractual relationships. We collect, process and use personal data on the use of this website (usage data) only insofar as this is necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill for it. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
The customer data collected is erased after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship and expiry of any existing statutory retention periods. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
9. Our own services
Handling of applicant data
We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g. by email, by post or via the online application form). Below, we inform you about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected in the course of the application process. We assure you that the collection, processing and use of your data is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other statutory provisions, and that your data is treated in strict confidence.
Scope and purpose of data collection
If you send us an application, we process the associated personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during interviews, etc.) insofar as this is necessary to decide on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Section 26 BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act) under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (general contract initiation) and – if you have given your consent – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent may be revoked at any time. Within our company, your personal data is passed on only to persons involved in processing your application.
If the application is successful, the data you have submitted is stored in our data processing systems on the basis of Section 26 BDSG and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.
As part of the application process, we may also conduct an internet search on you. This mainly includes Google search, LinkedIn and Xing. The legal basis for this type of processing is our legitimate interest in obtaining an overall picture of publicly available information about you pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Data retention period
If we are unable to make you a job offer, if you decline a job offer or withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have submitted on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). The data is then erased and the physical application documents destroyed. The retention serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. If it is apparent that the data will be required after expiry of the 6-month period (e.g. due to an impending or pending legal dispute), erasure will only take place once the purpose for further retention no longer applies.
Longer retention may also take place if you have given corresponding consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or if statutory retention obligations preclude erasure.
Inclusion in the applicant pool
If we do not make you a job offer, there may be the possibility of including you in our applicant pool. In the event of inclusion, all documents and information from the application are transferred to the applicant pool in order to contact you in the event of suitable vacancies.
Inclusion in the applicant pool takes place exclusively on the basis of your express consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Giving consent is voluntary and bears no relation to the ongoing application process. The data subject may revoke their consent at any time. In this case, the data is irrevocably erased from the applicant pool, provided there are no statutory grounds for retention.
The data from the applicant pool is irrevocably erased no later than two years after consent has been given.
