- What it is about
WHEN THE PART IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE
A plant is down because a component has broken. The manufacturer no longer supplies it, has discontinued the model or no longer exists at all. That leaves two options: write the plant off – or have the part made.
That is exactly what our workshop in Rodgau is for. We measure up the original or the installation situation on site, design from that and make the piece using welding and milling. And where no part ever existed, we design one: the impact protection that spreads the force into the surface, or the rail system that makes it possible to remove a fan bearing in the first place.
What we deliberately do not do: Series production, prototyping, metalwork for private customers. We make one-offs for industry – where an existing machine or plant needs a spare part and it has to happen quickly.
We have a clear relationship with special-purpose machine building: we do not design special-purpose machines, we install them. What we fabricate ourselves are the parts around them – substructures, platforms, brackets, fitting pieces – so that a plant actually fits into its place. For industrial installation in special-purpose machine building, our installation teams move in the manufacturer's plant, align it and install it at the end customer.

Solutions that do not exist off the shelf
Not just remaking parts, but designing new ones for a specific problem: impact protection made from square tube with a 10 mm wall thickness, whose welded-in corners act as run-up ramps – you will not find that in any catalogue.

Pins, bushes, shafts, levers, brackets: we take the broken part or the installation situation as our template and make the replacement – even when no drawing exists any more.
Fitting pieces & adapters
When new meets old and the connecting dimensions do not match: spacers, adapter plates and mounts that bring the two together.
Custom impact and collision protection
Protection for plant that keeps getting hit – designed for the specific situation, bolted or welded in place on site.
Reinforcements & brackets
Reinforcement plates for worn bearing points, brackets for retrofitted equipment, mounts for additional loads – designed for the actual installation location.
Fixtures & aids
Sometimes it is not the component that is missing but the way to get at it: to remove a fan bearing we built a rail system, because there was no other route.
Measuring up & design
We measure up the real object and design from that – not from a drawing describing how things looked twenty years ago. That is why it fits first time.

For a problem no catalogue solves: guarding, a fixture or a mount designed for this specific plant. More effort – but often the only solution that holds.

CUSTOM FABRICATION: STRAIGHT ANSWERS
Do you make series parts or prototypes as well?
No. We are not a series supplier and not a prototype shop. We make one-offs for existing industrial plant – the spare part that can no longer be bought, or the custom design for a specific problem on a specific machine. For series work and development contracts, other companies are the right address.
Do you work for private customers or do general metalwork?
No, we work exclusively for industrial operations and always in relation to an existing plant. Gates, domestic railings and the like are not part of what we offer – there are metalworking shops and forges that do that better and cheaper.
Can you remake a part when no drawing exists any more?
Yes, that is the normal case. We take the original part as our template – broken or not – or measure up the installation situation on site and design from that. What matters are seating dimensions, tolerances and load directions, not the old drawing. Send us photos and we will tell you whether it can be done.
How quickly can something like this be made?
That depends on the part, but the time advantage is usually the real reason clients come to us: a remake is often ready within days, whereas a discontinued part at the manufacturer means months of waiting or replacing the whole assembly. If your plant is down, reach us by WhatsApp or phone.
Do you fit the part as well?
Yes, and that matters to us. We do not just drop it off – we fit it, adjust it on site where needed and check that it works. Since we install, maintain and weld anyway, our responsibility does not end at the workshop door.
What does a custom part cost?
That can only be answered honestly once we have seen it – material, effort and accessibility determine the price. The right comparison, though, is rarely a catalogue part but the alternative: replacing the whole assembly, or the plant standing still. Measured against that, the one-off is almost always the cheaper solution.
