SERVICE AREAS: NINE INDUSTRIES, NINE RHYTHMS

Installation is the same craft everywhere – but never the same schedule. Knowing when work is allowed in a given industry is what makes planning realistic.

THE INSTALLATION IS THE SAME – THE TIME WINDOW NEVER IS

Omega Mounting installs, maintains and repairs industrial plant across nine sectors. The technical tasks are similar: lifting, aligning, bolting, welding, connecting, commissioning. What differs is the framework in which it is allowed to happen.

In the automotive industry it is the weekend window. In logistics it is the night between two peaks. At the airport there is no window at all, only permits and restricted zones. In food production the cleaning cycle sets the rhythm, and in a data center it is the simple fact that there is no off switch.

Anyone who knows these differences does not promise dates that cannot be kept – and plans the job to fit the operation rather than fight it. That is why each of our sector pages describes the rhythm there before it talks about services.

Jobs from all nine sectors – from overhead conveyors to data centers.

FOUR THINGS THAT COUNT IN EVERY INDUSTRY

All trades in one team

Mechanics, electrics and welding from the same people. No company waiting on another – and one point of contact when something does not fit.

Working during live operations

Whether alongside the line, in a hygiene area, in a restricted zone or on the redundant string: we work where operations continue next door – with the necessary permits.

Our own lifting equipment and fabrication

Mini cranes and spider cranes for finished buildings, our own metalworking shop in Rodgau for the part that is no longer available. Both prevent downtime that others simply have to accept.

Cause rather than symptom

We do not just hand over a list of findings. Whatever can be fixed during the same visit, we fix – and we look for the reason, not just the symptom.

Your sector is not listed? No problem.

We work outside these nine areas too. They show our team’s core subjects, cover a wide range and make clear what is possible. If your business or your plant does not appear here, simply get in touch – we find a solution for everyone.

EVERY INDUSTRY HAS ITS OWN RHYTHM

This overview is twenty years of working knowledge – and the reason we can promise dates that hold.

Data centersThe operation with no off switchShutting down is not an option. Work happens to permit and lift plan, supervised and documented.
Logistics & intralogisticsThe night between two peaksSorting and loading systems run at their limit seasonally. Repairs happen at night – and before the peak season.
Airport & security areasThe operation that never closesNo real shutdown window, only permits, restricted zones and night hours. Anyone working here has to be security cleared.
Energy & standby powerThe window that must not existThe plant has to stay available while work is done on it. So we work on the redundant string.
Food & beverageBetween two cleaning cyclesHygiene and cleaning set the rhythm. Welding only with extraction and a permit.
Crane constructionThe moving hall sectionNobody may work beneath the installation. Areas are cordoned off section by section, and the exclusion zone moves along.
Workshop equipmentThe space that has to be clearedTime is not the bottleneck here – space is. Work proceeds area by area.
Automotive & Mechanical EngineeringThe weekend windowProduction on two or three shifts, downtime only at weekends. The window is fixed.
Steel structures & access platformsThe hot work permitHere it is not the clock that decides but the permit: extraction, segregation, fire watch, work clearance.

HOW A JOB RUNS WITH US

01SITE WALKLooking at the plant, reviewing findings, clarifying access and loads – and above all: when work is allowed at your site in the first place.
02PREPARATIONProcuring parts, prefabricating special items, obtaining permits, scheduling staff. Whatever can be prepared is made in Rodgau beforehand.
03DELIVERYWithin the window we install, we do not improvise – matched to the rhythm of the sector and to live operations.
04HANDOVERFunction test, photo documentation, report – and the list of findings for next time.

PROJECTS FROM VARIOUS INDUSTRIES

SERVICE AREAS: ANSWERED DIRECTLY

My sector is not on the list – would you still work for us?

Very probably yes. The nine areas are the ones where we have particularly deep experience, which is why they have their own pages. The underlying work – lifting, installing, welding, connecting, maintaining – is similar in any industrial operation.

Why do you place so much emphasis on a sector’s rhythm?

Because that is where most installation projects fail – not on the technology. A date that ignores a sector’s constraints falls apart: because the permit is missing, the cleaning window is shorter than assumed, or the redundancy must not be switched off. Knowing the rhythm means planning realistically from the start instead of renegotiating later.

Are you equally good in every sector?

No, and we say so openly. Our longest experience is with overhead conveyors, conveying systems and heavy move-ins – which is how our focus on automotive, logistics and data centers grew. In other areas we are good, but not specialists. That is why each sector page states what we have actually done there, with projects you can read up on.

Can you work throughout Germany?

Yes. We are based in Rodgau near Frankfurt, with our focus on the Rhine-Main region – where we are usually on site within a day in the event of a breakdown. For rollouts and larger projects we travel throughout Germany, including Leipzig, Hanover, Kassel and Fulda, and for relocations across Europe as well.

Do you take on individual small jobs?

Yes. Not every job is a major project – often it is a single repair, a missing spare part or a machine that needs to move two metres. Those in particular often turn into long-term working relationships, because we know the plant afterwards.

How quickly can you be there in an emergency?

We can be reached at any time by WhatsApp and phone, weekends included. In the Rhine-Main region we are usually on site within a day, and immediately for plant under permanent support. A standby generator replacement that began on a Sunday evening is documented in our job diary – not just claimed.
