Installation and maintenance for rail, transport and logistics infrastructure

Maintenance depots, vehicle halls, operating yards, handling facilities and plant rooms: we install, service and relocate where operations must not stop – in night windows, possessions and handling breaks.

What makes transport infrastructure different from an ordinary hall

Transport infrastructure runs to a timetable that cannot be moved. Trains run, aircraft are turned around, lorries wait at the dock – and in between, things have to be installed, repaired and rebuilt. That only works in windows: at night, at weekends, in possessions, in agreed handling breaks.

We are open about where we come from. Our evidence in transport infrastructure so far comes from aviation and logistics: we have worked for years in the security area of Frankfurt Airport, installing on sorting and conveyor systems, fitting impact protection at loading docks and building storage equipment. Add to that loading ramps, folding ramps and truck stop systems in logistics centres.

Rail is a new field for us, and we treat it as one. What has to be done in a maintenance depot, a vehicle hall, an operating yard or a technical building is our core work: lifting, steelwork, conveying technology, workshop equipment, standby power, relocations. Where work in the track area is involved, we bring in qualified partners rather than pretending we have had it in our programme for years.

What that means for you: you get an installation crew with its own lifting equipment, its own workshop and experience in access-controlled areas – and a straight answer about which part we do ourselves and which part a partner takes on.

What we take on for rail, transport and logistics

From the vehicle hall to the loading ramp – with our own crew and our own lifting equipment.

Workshop

Maintenance depots, vehicle halls and workshops

Lifting equipment, workbenches, extraction systems, service connections and hall equipment placed, anchored, connected and tested – including in existing halls where operations continue.

Operational equipment
Conveying

Conveying, sorting and handling technology

Installing, servicing and repairing overhead conveyors, conveyor lines, sorting systems, loading ramps, folding ramps and truck stop systems. At Frankfurt Airport and in logistics centres this is our everyday work.

Servicing an overhead conveyor
Steelwork

Platforms, walkways and impact protection

Maintenance access, mezzanines, handrails, stairs and impact protection at doors, ramps and columns – made to measure for the space that exists, installed alongside live operation.

Steelwork and access platforms
Operating yard

Technical buildings, containers and room modules

Container and room complexes for workshops, break rooms, site security or construction operations: set up, levelled, joined and fitted out – including dismantling when they are no longer needed.

Container complexes
Standby power

Standby power and plant rooms

Moving in, installing, servicing and replacing standby power systems, UPS and cooling in technical buildings and plant rooms – where the supply must not fail.

Standby power and energy
Relocation

Relocating workshops and plant

Dismantling, labelling, transporting, rebuilding and commissioning – planned backwards from the date on which work has to resume.

How a window works with us

Step 1

Site visit, survey and feasibility

We walk the route from the vehicle to the installation position: access, doors, load capacities, ceiling heights, lifting points, access rules. Where it gets tight, that becomes a feasibility study rather than a gut feeling.

Step 2

Windows, permits and safety measures

We plan backwards from the moment of restart: night windows, possessions, handling breaks, work permits, barriers. If work in the track area is involved, the partners qualified for it come on board.

Step 3

Execution with one team

Mechanical, electrical, control and welding work in the same crew. In shifts where the window demands it – and with a fixed crew that has already had the briefing.

Step 4

Acceptance and documentation

Function test, measured values, photo documentation and a record to your standard – German or English. After that we are available for servicing and faults.

Documented in our own jobs

Documented jobs from aviation and logistics – no claimed rail references.

Rail, transport and logistics: answered directly

Have you worked for rail operators before?

In transport infrastructure yes – so far in aviation and logistics: for years in the security area of Frankfurt Airport, plus loading ramps, folding ramps and truck stop systems in logistics centres. For rail it is a new field, and we say so rather than claiming a reference list that does not exist. The work itself – lifting, steelwork, conveying technology, workshop equipment – is the same.

Do you work in the track area?

Not on our own. Work in the track area requires specific qualifications and safety arrangements; for that we bring in qualified partners. Our field is workshops, vehicle and maintenance halls, technical buildings, operating yards and plant rooms.

Can you work in night windows and possessions?

Yes, that is the normal case. We plan backwards from the moment of restart, have material and tools ready beforehand and work in shifts where needed. Nights and weekends are not an exception for us.

How many people can you provide at short notice?

Our core crew is in house. Through subcontractors we have worked with for years we scale up to 30 to 40 people at short notice. The crew is rarely the bottleneck – procurement of material is.

What documents can you provide?

Commercial register extract, business liability insurance with a high sum insured, clearance certificates, our own EHS standard, qualification records for the fitters, risk assessment and method statement. The required security clearances for our fitters are completed and in place.

Do you also take on servicing and repair?

Yes. Recurring inspections and servicing with records, replacement of wear parts, statutory repairs to loading and conveying equipment. Plus fault call-outs – usually within a few hours and primarily for clients we already work with.

Which regions do you cover?

We are based in Rodgau in the Rhine-Main region – Frankfurt, Offenbach, Hanau, Darmstadt, Aschaffenburg and Mainz are a short drive away. For installations, relocations and repairs we work throughout Germany and in Europe.

Do you have work in a depot, hall or operating yard?

Describe the framework: installation, site, time window, access rules. We will tell you what we do ourselves, what a partner takes on – and what it costs.
