INDUSTRIAL DISMANTLING AND REMOVAL

Anyone can demolish. We dismantle – so that the plant can be rebuilt elsewhere and the building remains undamaged. Industrial dismantling from a single unit to a complete site: machine dismantling, plant dismantling, deconstruction.

DISMANTLING IS INSTALLATION IN REVERSE

Dismantling a plant is not demolition. Anyone who wants to rebuild it later needs someone who already thinks about reassembly while taking it apart: marking, documenting, releasing connections rather than cutting them, securing assemblies for transport. That is exactly why installation companies do this better than demolition contractors. Professional dismantling means: plan first, then unbolt.

The second point is the building. Halls get re-let, repurposed or keep producing next door. We dismantle so that floors, walls, doors and utility lines remain undamaged – and hand the space over swept clean rather than as a building site.

And we see the whole lifecycle: We move plant in, install it, connect it, maintain and repair it – and when its time at that site is over, we take it apart and move it out. For you that means the same point of contact across the entire lifecycle, with the records from back then.

Dismantling is installation in reverse – and needs the same people. For an industrial dismantling we provide an installation team of our own industrial fitters who take the plant apart with documentation, label it and pack it for reassembly. If you are looking for an installation company rather than a demolition contractor, you are in the right place.

FOUR REASONS WHY COMPANIES CALL US IN

Dismantling for reassembly

We take it apart so the plant can come back together: labelled, photo-documented, connections undone rather than cut, assemblies secured. A demolition firm hands you scrap – we hand you a plant ready for transport.

Without damage to the building

Floors, walls, doors and utility lines stay intact. We protect travel routes, relieve suspended ceilings and hand over swept clean – so no second company has to come in and repair afterwards.

Alongside live operation

The old line out while the new one is already producing next door: section by section, cordoned off, with permits and without dust or noise where work continues.

The whole lifecycle from one source

Moving in, installing, connecting, maintaining, dismantling, moving out – we look after a plant across its entire life. By the time it comes to dismantling, we already know it.

WHAT WE TAKE ON IN DISMANTLING

From a single machine to an entire site – dismantled, secured, transported away and handed over.

Dismantling machines & plant

Properly dismantling individual machines, lines and conveying systems: having them electrically isolated, draining utilities, undoing connections, securing assemblies.

Moving out of the building

The way out is rarely easier than the way in. With our own lifting equipment we retrieve loads from basements and tight service corridors too – see Lift & Shift.

Dismantling for reassembly

Labelling, photo-documenting, marking up cables and lines, sorting small parts: so that reassembly at the new site is not a guessing game.

Workshop equipment & racking

Dismantling racking, automated storage units, hall offices and containers – from the paternoster to the complete workshop equipment. How such a conversion works during live operations is explained in our guide converting racking during live operations. We set up container facilities just as we dismantle them – with power supply, water connection and air conditioning: setting up and dismantling container facilities.

Recycling & disposal

Sorting for reuse, recycling and disposal, with transport coordinated – one point of contact instead of three, and your recyclables stay yours.

Handover of the space

Removing anchors, assessing openings and remaining foundations, handing the space over swept clean – with photo documentation for landlords or subsequent users.

THREE WAYS TO DISMANTLE A PLANT

The difference determines the effort, the cost and what is left of the plant afterwards. It is settled beforehand, not while the work is under way.

For recycling

The plant has reached the end of its life

Breaking down by material, sorting, transporting away. Faster and cheaper – but the plant is history afterwards.

For reassembly

The plant is moving

Taking it apart with reassembly in mind: labelled, documented, connections undone rather than cut, secured for transport. More effort – and the only route that preserves the plant.

Clearance with handover

The site is being given up

Everything out, the building undamaged, the space swept clean and documented. Here it is less about the plant than about the condition the hall is handed back in.

HOW AN ORDERLY DISMANTLING RUNS

01INVENTORYRecording the plant, utility connections and routes. Clarifying in advance what is to be kept and what will be recycled – that determines everything else.
02ISOLATIONHaving the power isolated, draining and securing utilities, clarifying hazardous substances, cordoning off areas and obtaining permits.
03DISMANTLINGDismantling in a planned sequence, labelling and documenting, securing assemblies for transport – with floor protection along all routes.
04HANDOVERCoordinating removal, taking out anchors, handing over the space swept clean and photo-documented – ready for its next use.

INDUSTRIAL DISMANTLING: STRAIGHT ANSWERS

What is the difference between dismantling and demolition?

A demolition firm cuts and disposes – what is left is material. We dismantle: we undo connections instead of cutting them, label and document, secure assemblies for transport. What is left is a plant ready for transport that can be rebuilt. Which route is right depends on what is to happen to the plant – and we settle that beforehand.

Can you dismantle in a way that lets the plant be rebuilt elsewhere?

Yes, and on request we rebuild it at the new site as well. While taking it apart we label, photograph, mark up and sort everything – cables, lines and small parts included. Without that groundwork, reassembly becomes guesswork and costs many times what was saved during dismantling.

Does the building stay undamaged?

That is our standard. We protect travel routes and floors, relieve suspended ceilings, work back cleanly around anchor points and hand over swept clean. Especially when a hall is re-let or repurposed, the condition after dismantling decides whether a second company has to come in.

Can you dismantle while production continues next door?

Yes, that is often the case – for instance when the new line is already running and the old one has to go. We work section by section, cordon off, agree permits and keep dust and noise away from where work continues.

Do you handle recycling and disposal as well?

We sort for reuse, recycling and disposal and coordinate the removal, so that you have one point of contact. Your recyclables remain yours – we account for them transparently and not as a hidden part of the quotation.

Do you dismantle plant you did not install yourselves?

Of course – that is the normal case. If we moved the plant in, installed or maintained it ourselves, however, dismantling is considerably easier: we already know the routes, the connection points and the weak spots from our own records.
