What we are trusted with
On data centre and industrial sites, it is not the loudest advertiser who wins the work but whoever has the certificates. These are the ones we have earned.
On Rechenzentrumsbaustellen we plan, check and take responsibility for lifting operations ourselves – from load calculation through sign-off to supervision on site. This role is not handed out, you work your way into it.
Since 2026 we have trained operators for cranes (TÜV Nord), aerial work platforms and telehandlers ourselves and examine them in house. The expertise sits with us – not with a service provider you have to book first.
Our occupational safety is set out in our own rulebook – bilingual, based on DGUV, BetrSichV and TRBS, with ten binding Omega safety rules. We do not just sign our clients’ requirements, we have our own.

As the son of an industrial mechanic, his career path was clear early on. Tobias Schott was on building sites as a child, got to know welding torches and torque wrenches in the family workshop – and developed an eye for what works in practice.
Today he does not just run projects, he is on site himself. When things get tight, he is where the decisions are made – not on the phone.

The Mounting Crew – the heart of the company
Whether mechanics, electrical engineering, electronics or machine fitting: our team brings a wealth of expertise – complemented by further training in project and quality management, safety and lifting technology. And above all by the one thing you cannot train: sticking together.
Mechanics, electricians, mechatronics engineers and machine fitters – each with their own tools, their own vehicle and the experience to carry on when the plan no longer fits. Sticking together is not an empty phrase here: whoever finishes first helps the next one.
Back office and organisation. She keeps appointments, certificates and paperwork together so the work outside can go ahead – and for many clients she is the first voice to call back.

Unsere Kunden sprechen uns regelmäßig auf unsere Ausrüstung an. Sie ist der Grund, warum wir einmal anfahren und dann arbeiten können – statt zwischendurch etwas holen zu müssen.
Der Lift-&-Shift-Anhänger
Alles an Bord, um Lasten zu heben und zu bewegen: Rundschlingen, Ketten und Schäkel, Kettenzüge, Transportfahrwerke, Schaltschrankwagen, einschraubbare Anschlagpunkte und die komplette Ausrüstung für Höhensicherung. Eine Anfahrt, alle Eventualitäten abgedeckt.
Die mobile Werkstatt
Für Rechenzentren haben wir eine Werkstatt gebaut, die auf Rollen steht und in beschrifteten Kisten organisiert ist. Sie lässt sich in wenigen Minuten ein Stockwerk weiter schieben und wächst mit dem Projekt mit.
Eine Kiste, ein Arbeitseinsatz
In der Pumpenkiste liegen Glykol- und Dieselpumpe zusammen mit Spillkit, Ölbindemittel, Schutzbrille und Handschuhen. Die Sicherheitsausrüstung liegt neben dem Werkzeug, bevor jemand danach fragt – jede Kiste beschriftet, mit hinterlegten Sicherheitsdatenblättern.
Montagebusse wie Feuerwehrautos
Handwerkzeug, Maschinen und Verbrauchsmaterial sind fest verstaut. Unsere Monteure müssen morgens nicht packen, sondern nur einsteigen. Das ist der unspektakuläre Grund, warum wir schnell vor Ort sind.
Die eigene Werkstatt in Rodgau
Neunundneunzig Prozent unserer Arbeit findet bei Ihnen statt. Für den Fall, dass ein Ersatzteil nicht mehr lieferbar ist, haben wir Dreh- und Fräsmaschine: Wellen nacharbeiten, Hülsen fertigen, einen Getriebeblock planfräsen. Wir sind kein Lohnfertiger – wir sind Ihr Plan B, wenn es sonst keinen gibt.

Do you work with your own people or with subcontractors?
Der Kern ist unsere eigene Mannschaft – festangestellt, mit eigenem Werkzeug und eigenen Fahrzeugen. Für große Projekte ergänzen wir sie um feste Partnerkolonnen, die wir seit Jahren kennen und selbst anleiten. Firmen, die als Nachunternehmer mit uns arbeiten möchten, finden die Voraussetzungen und den Ablauf auf unserer Seite für Partnerfirmen.
What area do you cover?
Our focus is the Rhine-Main region around Rodgau and Frankfurt. For projects that suit us, we work throughout Germany and across Europe.
Can you handle English-language projects as well?
Yes. On international data centre sites, English as the project language and English documentation are standard for us.
Wie viele Leute arbeiten bei Omega Mounting?
Unsere Kernmannschaft besteht aus 15 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern, der Großteil davon draußen auf Montage – der Geschäftsführer eingeschlossen. Im Team stecken Schlosser, Elektriker, Mechatroniker, ein Techniker und Kolleginnen und Kollegen mit Produktionserfahrung, dazu Montagehelfer. Genau diese Mischung erlaubt es uns, mit drei oder vier Gewerken gleichzeitig vor einer Anlage zu stehen, statt für jeden Schritt eine weitere Firma zu bestellen.
Bekomme ich bei jedem Einsatz dieselben Leute?
Ja. Unsere Kunden werden dauerhaft von denselben Monteuren betreut. Wer Ihre Anlage einmal montiert oder gewartet hat, kennt sie beim nächsten Mal wieder – Sie erklären nichts zweimal. Wir halten das für den größten Nutzen, den wir bieten können.
Für wen arbeiten Sie nicht?
Für Privathaushalte sind wir in aller Regel die falsche Adresse: Anfahrt, Hebetechnik und Fachpersonal sprengen den Rahmen einer privaten Aufgabe. Und wir arbeiten nicht für Auftraggeber, die respektlos mit unseren Leuten umgehen. Unser Team steht bei uns an erster Stelle – wo respektvoll zusammengearbeitet wird, bleiben wir dafür über Jahre.
